DAW'S Home Furnishings, of El Paso, TX, evolved from the original S.O.S. TV and Appliance Company, which opened in 1951, as a small retail showroom in a radio and television repair shop. Yazbik Daw, along with three other partners, joined forces as the birth of color television created a golden opportunity for business growth in the El Paso area. Quick to recognize the new trend, they opened a second and third showroom in 1958 and 1959. Strategically located throughout El Paso, these new facilities offered El Pasoans the largest selection of appliances and electronics, with friendly customer service to go with it all.
