Additionally, they may lack financial resources to pay for such repairs and improvements. From fixing a leaky faucet to installing an access ramp - Our Home Improvement Program removes hindrances and helps make homes safe. The Cumberland County Council on Older Adults is here to help. Cumberland County Council on Older Adults was established in 1968 as a non-profit organization and fifty-one years later we remain committed to our original mission of helping older adults living in Cumberland County maintain their independence at home with dignity.
