Our Members are informed on the most up-to-date information as the housing industry continues to change at the local, state and national levels. Every day, the National Association of Home Builders, Florida Home Builders Association, and BANCF fight to defeat excessive regulations that are driving up the cost of housing. That puts money and time back in your pocket while promoting the creation of desirable communities and the American Dream of home ownership. All of our Members are supporting the community by being a Member.

The Builders Association of North Central Florida represents the residential and commercial building industry, provides services for all members, and supports the freedom to operate as entrepreneurs in an open and competitive environment. BANCF is committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality, integrity, and professionalism within the building industry, while promoting the creation of desirable communities and the American Dream of home ownership. In 1955, the Gainesville Home Builders Association (now the Builders Association of North Central Florida) was founded by a group of building pioneers including Clark Butler, George Gaston, Fred Mason, Walter Stubbs, Harold Walker, and A.W. Fletcher.

The BANCF Commercial Builders Council (CBC) was founded in 1998 to meet the needs of the Association's Members involved in commercial construction. The CBC meets every other month for lunch at The Best Western Gateway Grand, where they address specific commercial issues on both the local and national levels such as Legislative Changes, Green Building, Water Intrusion, Outlook for Commercial Development, and many more. These bi-monthly meetings provide an exclusive opportunity for commercial Members to network with their fellow commercial Members.
