Searching for a contractor doesn't have to be daunting. Whether you know exactly what you want or you need some guidance to determine the best way to tackle a home improvement project, you want a contractor who listens to your concerns, who offers multiple solutions when possible to find a solution that meets your needs, and who will do the job right. You want a professional you can trust. At Peterson Home Improvement, honesty and integrity are our core values. And no matter how large or small the project, we provide the same level of quality service.
At Peterson Home Improvement, we believe that dealing with a contractor should be an enjoyable experience. When you call our office only one of two people will take your call. Owner Ed Peterson was trained in New York City and completed 4 years of night school and a 4-year apprenticeship to become a New York State-certified carpenter. While working on many high-rises and other high-end projects, Ed joined an elite group of master carpenters who shared with him their vast knowledge of structural and finish work.
Even if you don't see a project in this list that is like the one you are dreaming about for your home, give us a call. We've done everything from building an observatory for a customer with an interest in astronomy to raising a flood-ravaged house up out of a flood zone with a new foundation after Hurricane Katrina and remediating the flood damage in the process. If you are concerned that remodeling might take away some of your home's charm, we can incorporate into your remodeling plan ways to preserve your home's character.
As the weather warms and we venture outside the house make sure leaders are attached and water is draining away from your foundation. Also, soil should be higher against foundation and drain away. Often the dirt gets flattened out over time.
Thank you, all of our wonderful customers. So happy to help. Peace and Love
