We moved to the Nashville area from Dallas about seven months ago, and as a result, we have had a variety of service people out to our house. From this relatively large sample, Justin at Childs Heating & Air Conditioning has been the best (by far!). It is Friday night right now and he just left after fixing the problem (he called about 7:00 PM to ask if we would prefer a service call this evening or tomorrow). Justin puts a premium on customer satisfaction. There's nothing that makes your home feel less like home than a broken heater or air conditioning system.

Justin Childs came and did a maintenance check on the HVAC unit for the house I just moved into. He and his employee were very courteous and thorough. His employee climbed under the house to check the duct work while Justin answered all the questions I had.

Justin is the type of dude you want to talk HVAC with and purchase services from. I had a good feeling about Childs HVAC from the very onset when I spoke with Trish in the office to schedule an estimate. Trish is professional yet still personable. A pleasure to talk to.
Justin came to inspect my heat pump/air handler and quote a new system install. He genuinely enjoys his craft and was happy to answer all of my questions impartially. He also dug up information and prices on every item I asked about.
I may be a unique case in that I prepared mentally and financially by expecting the death of my 26 year old Payne unit, but Justin worked with me to create the exact whole home system I wanted at the price I expected.

Justin was great! My elderly parents had been dealing with another HVAC company and had overpaid for a unit that had gone out several times within a month. My parents spent a total of 4 days in -20 weather with out heat dealing with the other company. After getting the old company to remove their faulty system and refund my parents Justin was at my parents doorsteps within 30 minutes after my phone call to him and gave my parents several options on quality units at very reasonable prices. After taking 4 weeks of dealing with the other company Justin saved my parents money and within a day had them up and running with a brand new unit. My parents keep speaking of their pleasurable experience using Justin and after being with the same company for 35+ years they will now be using Justin's business instead for all of their future HVAC needs. We will recommend him to anyone that needs his service and have done so already with their elderly neighbor who also has started praising his business.

Fast service on the day I called. Justin was here within 2 hours of my call. Our system needed a new board that had to be ordered. Justin fixed the air conconditioner so it could work until the part came in. Today he returned and put the part in and we are ready for fall cooler weather or indian summer heat. Great company, reasonably prices, fast and efficient service. Five stars for Childs Heating & Air

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable. Great understanding of explaining what repair work needs to be immediate and what can wait based on your budget. We are very happy to have found Child’s Heating and Air and will continue to use them for all of our service and maintenance needs!

We just had Childs Heating and Air out to service our upstairs unit that was down. He was friendly, worked quickly and efficiently, making it out to us on the same day we called! We highly recommend Child’s to anyone with AC or heating issues!
