Athens-Atlanta Asphalt was established in 1978 and has been serving customers throughout the metro Atlanta area for more than 20 years. Company founderDanny Wood, a veteran of the construction industry, started small. At first, his jobs were in the area of pavement repair. But the company grew quickly, driven by a spreadingreputationfor quality work, and it wasn't long until the company's project list began to expand rapidly. Within just a few years Athens-Atlanta Asphalt was taking on large commercial paving projects, further enhancing its reputation for quality work delivered on time.
Line marking, or striping, is an important component of many paving jobs. The line marking is installed on new or recently sealed pavement after a short curing time, typically about a week. Pavement marking often includes striping, which we place using state-of-the-art airless spray equipment. After repaving this facility, the linemarking is installed using GA D.O.T. Approved Marking Paint. Besides striping, pavement marking frequently involves signage (for handicapped parking spaces or no-parking areas, for example) as well.
Athens-Atlanta Asphalt specializes in commercial and industrial asphalt paving, including installation of highly durable state-of-the-art Perma-Flex asphalt paving. We create pavements that will last. What if preliminary sitework must be completed, or severely damaged paving must be removed before new paving can be placed? That's no problem at Athens-Atlanta Asphalt. We can take care of grading, placement of crusher run stone subbase, and any and every other aspect of the paving process.
