Long Painting Company opened for business in 1967, operating out of a small shop in Seattle. Under the leadership of the late Ty Long and his wife Anne, the company quickly outgrew the small shop. By 1970, operations expanded to a five and one-half acre complex in the South Park area of Seattle.
