Crack Seal is one of the most economical pavement maintenance tools for asphalt and concrete pavements. Crack Seal is a process in which abituminous product is applied toopen cracks and joints in a roadwaysurface. This process is the key to keeping water out of the pavement subbase which in turn will help provide long pavement service life. Crack Seal should be used as soonas possible when normal crackingabove 1/4 inch first appears in a paved surface. Cracks are cleaned with a streamof high pressure air.

EcoPatch offers users an environmentally friendly solution to conventional cutback cold mixes whose volatile solvents present hazards to both the users and the environment. The EcoPatch product contains no petroleum solvents whose vapors can be highly flammable, hazardous for workers, and release harmful VOC's into the environment. Repairs to pot holes, utility cuts, and pavement imperfections using EcoPatch provides a permanent solution that incorporates recycled materials and sustainable resources.

Midland Asphalt was established in 1934. The primary office was located in Buffalo, New York with storage and plant facilities in the nearby city of North Tonawanda. The company provided liquid asphalt products and application services for highway construction and maintenance to local municipalities. In 1961, Midland re-organized under new ownership to become Midland Asphalt Corporation. Production commenced on a full line of paving grade asphalt emulsions, both anionic and cationic. In 1993, Midland Asphalt Corporation and Penn Can Road Materials, Inc. created a co-company - Lyons Asphalt Products Co., LLC.
