The Micar

Our first shop houses our 190 ton break press, punches, shear (Edwards 316) that is capable of shearing 7 gauge black iron, drill presses, and a 5' x 10' high definition 260 amp plasma burn table capable of burning 8'' plate. Our second shop is dedicated to steel fabrication and mechanical adjust work. Our third shop is dedicated to paint work and has a 16' x 50' paint booth with a curing oven. We offer shot, sand, and laser blasting capabilities for our industrial and commercial painting customers.

With state-of-the-are fabrication equipment, we can laser cut, shear, punch, stamp, bend, form, and weld steel for your project. We work with all types of steel: carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

The Micar Company's certified welders deliver the highest quality and results in the industry. We have the staff and field service welding units to accommodate any project.

We offer high quality industrial painting with a quick turn-around. Though we have teams based in Decatur IL, we will travel to you for large commercial and industrial facility painting. We also have a shop that is dedicated to commercial and industrial painting projects. It houses a 16' x 50' paint booth with a GAT batch oven. Our state-of-the-art blasting methods make your paint project a complete package. Our industrial painters in Decatur keep current on the latest paint standards for a variety of projects and surfaces.
