Using clean never recycled sand does two very important things. This gives you a very nice clean cut substrate to apply coating to, leaving no contaminants between your steel and your coating. It provides a great bonding relationship with the coating and substrate. A coating will only hold up if properly prepared. Blasting to a white metal profile is the best way to properly prepare metal before coating application. We use Clemco blasting equipment. We have the capability of sandblasting on two shifts, which sets us apart from the typical (9-5) five days per week provider.
