Owner Eric Geistert has been in the painting business since he completed his apprenticeship program in Germany. Eric's Painting and Decorating began in New Jersey in 1960 and, although it was successful, in 1972 Eric moved his family to Venice, Florida for a better life. This is truly a family-owned and operated business. Eric's wife, Christel, and his two sons, Eric Jr. and Mike, take pride in working together to provide a quality product all while concentrating on exceptional customer service.

Recently had a lot of renovations done in my home. The contractor had Eric's painting and decorating do all the painting. I was very pleased with the results. So I call them to do an estimate on painting my kitchen cabinets. Eric can to my house and told me that he could do the job, but would highly recommend me calling Coastal Cottage because he felt they were better equipped and could do a better job. I found this incredible and truly appreciated his honesty. I will definitely call him again for any painting that I need done! I highly recommend this company!
