EMF, Inc. (Engineering and Metal Fabrication or EMF) was established in 1964, right in the heart of the space coast, and about 15 miles from Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral. EMF opened with the intent of supplying custom fabricated products for commercial and government industries, and has done that successfully since its inception. EMF has a 35,000 square foot facility on Merritt Island which includes 15,000 square feet of precision machining, therefore providing ample room for manufacturing large structures and an open area that allows for very heavy proof loading.

EMF, Inc. offers premium electrical design services, with experience in the engineering, design, fabrication, assembly and troubleshooting of circuit boards, multi-layer boards, radio frequency boards, and remote data acquisition and recording devices. We have specialized knowledge of space system and communication structure design. Surface mount and thru hole technologies are employed, providing lead free and legacy lead soldering as well as automated testing procedures. Our services also include concept development, consulting, integration, reverse engineering, project management and functional prototyping.

EMF, Inc. provides custom sheet metal fabrication services to customers in a range of industries, producing precision tolerance components with advanced equipment. These systems include automated punch presses and press brakes with CNC control and 10 to 65 ton press capacity. We handle sheets up to 12' in length and 5 in thickness, employing a number of fabrication processes to construct parts including TIG, MIG, gas, and SMAW certified welding, along with punching, shearing, forming, sanding, rolling, riveting, hydro forming, conical formation, hot joggling, and notching.
