Our corporate offices and coatings facility are located in Goose Creek, South Carolina (just north of Charleston) in the Bushy Park Industrial Complex. Phillips Industrial got its start in 1961 as Phillips Welding. Eugene Phillips was living in a mobile home and working as a welder on night shift. He started welding repairs to pumps and boat trailers, using a tree stump as his welding bench.
At Phillips, large-scale industrial painting has been our specialty for over 50 years. We implement a variety of cutting edge methods to safely remove old, hazardous coatings and quickly apply new ones. With a collection of awards and glowing testimonials, you can rest assured that the job will get done the right way, the first time. One of our customers, a major chemical company, contracted our company to repaint 3 paraxylene tanks 180' diameter. The main reason we were chosen was our award winning safety program.
Phillips Industrial operates our coatings facility in Goose Creek to serve our customers who may not have the space to lay down large coatings projects at their facilities.
