Red Truck Painting was started by my father, Pete Granger. For over twenty five years, he painted during the summers with many fellow teachers from Fairport, NY. Together we worked on everything from tool sheds to historic homes. When Pete passed in 2007 I decided to continue and expand the painting business. The crew and I haven't stopped painting since! We are currently enjoying work on homes for sale. In addition to whole-house painting, we also provide home staging services. These include carpet removal, interior and exterior cleaning, fixture replacement, and repairs.

Red Truck Painting provides wallpaper removal, and drywall refinishing. We have worked on many projects where old wall paper needed to be stripped. Removal jobs vary greatly depending on the condition of the wallpaper, and the drywall beneath. Oftentimes the paper almost flies off, and the exposed walls need very little prep work. Other projects have us stripping the paper for hours, and completely refinishing the drywall. One project had us removing four layers of wallpaper, which was very difficult to get off.

I grew up in Victor, on East St. We have painted my mother's red house about five times now! One of our most memorable jobs in Victor had us working on an old house and barn on Coville St. When I was a child I spent a lot of time at this barn - and it hadn't been painted since then. This job had us doing a LOT of scraping and sanding! Talk about peeling paint. It looked great when we finished, and was a very rewarding project. We have painted many older homes in Rochester, including historic properties in the Corn Hill area. Atkison St has several beautiful homes that we have worked on both inside and outside. In 2012 we painted for the Daughter's of the American Revolution. This is a very old building, which was fun to work on. We have painted several beautiful properties in Pittsford, including a couple of older homes in the village. If you live there, you know that the town is pretty strict with older homes. For example, the use of vinyl siding and vinyl shutters is not allowed. Therefore we have painted shutters for a number of Pittsford residents. This involves a good amount of scraping and sanding, as well as an eye for detail! This old Pittsford house received a full repaint, after suffering from fire damage. We power washed, prepped and primed before coating the entire house with Benjamin Moore's top of the line Aura Exterior Paint.
