Mercado Landscaping is a custom landscape architect and contractor specializing in imaginative and innovative residential and commercial design with an emphasis on sustainable and eco-friendly landscapes incorporating native California plant materials, quality pest controls and water management into each design. Our signature landscape design ideas are unmistakable and customized to reflect the client's sense of style. The company began as a construction only firm in 2000 by Dan Mercado. In 2001, Doug Day, a 1977 graduate in landscape architecture from the University of California at Berkeley, joined the firm as the lead designer.
