DJ Tile is the best in the business when it comes to floor installation. For those with a subfloor - a wood base - we put a cement board or an uncoupling membrane to prevent deflection which prevents tiles from cracking and provides a waterproof base. We then set the tile or stone for a perfect floor that will last for years. On a concrete foundation, we install the tile or stone over the top with a multi-purpose mortar that has an additive that makes it more elastic and reduces cracking. We may also apply an anti-fracture membrane prior to installation if there are pre-existing cracks in the slab.
