If you have a hardwood, vinyl plank, tile, carpet or bathroom/shower project and looking for a reputable Dallas flooring contractor, you'll want to read this. Every type of floor is covered (no pun intended). Instead, I'm going to lay (no pun again, promise) it out very clearly so you're better equipped to tackle your project. There is a lot of confusion out there whether you're remodeling floors, countertops or bathrooms and simply looking for cheap prices is a sure way to disaster. The good news is it's actually very simple if you have the right guide.

I worked in retail flooring around Dallas for many years managing several stores and saw first hand exactly where clients numbered in company priorities. Covering a wide scope of work; I specialize in both residential and commercial flooring: from hardwood, bamboo, tile, natural stone, laminate, luxury vinyl plank and all commercial flooring. Not to mention bathrooms and showers of course where we do bathroom remodels. I'm a published author, written dozens of online articles, serviced thousands of homes, been on countless inspections and seen the best and worst of it all.

If you're looking for specific types of laminate flooring like Coretec, Quick-Step or Mannington, drop me a line for a prompt, no BS quote. Even if you just want laminate flooring installation services where you supply all the materials, no worries at all. Since I personally run my own crews and ensure they go to laminate flooring training and certification classes at least once a year, our rate of call-back/do-overs is extremely low. This means you're assured of installers who know what they're doing.

If you're looking for a hardwood flooring contractor in Dallas whether it's for installation or refinishing, then perhaps I can help you. If you would like to check out my portfolio of some of the hardwood flooring projects I have done throughout DFW over the past 15 years, go here. Unfortunately Dallas as big as it is, is also home to a lot of scammers and shady fly by night folks whose only objective is to steal your money and run. A lot of Dallas flooring companies aren't quite in the loop since they don't deal with them very much but as someone who has both extensive retail and contractor experience, I know how they work.

I have been doing bathroom remodeling in Dallas and the surrounding areas for over 17 years. In that time, customers have asked me many questions regarding their projects and most of these revolve around not knowing where to begin! So I decided to put together this little guide in order to answer your most common queries, no matter where you live! That way, you also see the process involved in remodeling your bathroom from start to finish. I've included a video afterwards so you can see it all come together.

If you're looking for vinyl flooring installation and you want it done right - contact me right away. We knock out most jobs within a couple of days so you can have your home back sooner.

It doesn't matter if you're looking for solid or engineered hardwood flooring in a hand scraped or smooth finish; there are a lot of very important things one must do to get a correct installation. Taking the extra time and effort to make sure things are done right may run a little more; but your floor is protected for as long as you own it from any fault due to workmanship. Unless the person actually knows their stuff and understands the risks involved in doing a hardwood floor incorrectly, you may find yourself having to tear out the entire area and do it again correctly.

Commercial flooring must be done right and on time or there are possible penalties and costly delays. A Certified Flooring Installer (commercial) has been to special training specifically for commercial flooring work. Our installers are certified by either CFI or other specialist industry schools like Armstrong. So whether it's commercial carpet, porcelain or ceramic tile, LVT or vinyl plank, you're in the safest hands possible. We fully understand how important it is to complete our portion of work on time as it affects other trades.

Whether it's a shower or complete bath makeover, our speciality is doing these projects right. If you're unsure of how it all goes down, I've outlined the exact process for you here; step by step. Depending on what you're looking to get done, there could be up to 8 or more different tradespeople coming and going from your home during the project. Don't worry, I personally take care of everything from start to finish no matter how simple or complex it is. This includes everything from gutting and rebuilding the shower to shower glass, plumbing, floors and countertops.

Unless the person actually knows their stuff and understands the risks involved in doing a shower pan, wall or anything else incorrectly, it will need to be completely redone. Let me state upfront that I'm NOT the cheapest so if that's your priority, I can't help you. Shopping specialized labor isn't the smartest idea - either the work is done right or it isn't. All showers we build for example come with a lifetime no leak guarantee. We'll be sure to properly waterproof or level floors and walls so they look and perform the way they should.

If you're in the Dallas, Plano, McKinney or surrounding areas and looking for granite, quartz or marble countertops, drop me a line. Make sure to also check out these granite countertop shopping tips before you get too far in. I have worked extensively with these materials and put them everywhere from kitchens, bathrooms, fireplaces and custom showers. As well as your new countertops, I can also help you with an accompanying backsplash which really brings out the main showcase of your kitchen. Since these natural stone slabs come in literally thousands of different colors and designs, it's easy to get overwhelmed.

Having done kitchen remodels in Dallas/Fort Worth for over 17 years, I'm hoping this guide will help you as you navigate your project. Afterwards, I'll share with you things to look for when selecting a kitchen remodeling contractor so you don't lose your sanity. Before anything, please ensure you have the right permit/s pulled with your city. More specifically - your contractor needs to handle that. Any introduction of new plumbing, gas lines or electrical needs a permit. Any moving of circuits, plumbing/gas lines needs a permit.
