Looks a lot different in the winter months. I had to deliver a Semi Tractor Trailer (shipment) to this location while working for Crete Carriers in February 2015. In order to do this you have to turn your truck and trailer around in the cul-de-sac and back through the winding driveway through a gate, right pass the gate is a sharp left turn (in a backing situation, a right turn if driving forward) snow banks, merchandise and parked trucks makes it extremely difficult to make that turn at the gate area. Throughout the back yard is merchandise stacked on pallets everywhere. Not to mention snow banks taller than myself. I have some great pictures I wish I could show them to you. The manager was extremely helpful by having some pellets moved out of the way of the dock. Unfortunately they were not moved far enough away. I could tell he was knowledgeable in this extremely tight backing maneuver. He stood in the freezing temperature and the Lake effect snows of Lake Erie. He helped in protecting yard merchandise as well as the drivers docking safety. The snow banks were as tall as half way up my trailer, my trailer is 13'6 in height. I gently had to push the snow with rear trailer bumper to make my way into the dock. I thanked the receiving Manager for his professionalism and assistants. I would like to thank him again. Kudos to you. thank you for your knowledge in yard safety and customer service! Hopefully this post will help future drivers delivering shipments, as well as customer contractors picking up. People have to use patients in these extreme conditions. Semi Tractor Trailer have 18 wheels and are 73 feet in length. So Please "4 wheel trucks" please be patient and stay out of the way until The Big Trucks Are Docked. Thanks!
