Beyer Studio

Our artisans have the skill to revitalize old and damaged stained glass windows whether it's repainting to match an old style, reconstruction of a whole window, or even welding steel frames. This process involves adapting preexisting windows for new frames. The example to the left shows a window that was converted from a round roman arch to a gothic peak. The Cathedral of the Holy Name of Jesus is a new cathedral being built in Raleigh, NC. The new blog will feature posts from us documenting the restoration process as well as background information on the windows.

Beyer Studio was founded by Joseph and Rita Beyer in 1980. The studio offers a full range of services in stained glass, including design and fabrication of new windows, restoration of existing windows, consultation about protection glazing and framing and more than ten years of experience in the adaptive reuse of historic stained glass windows for new churches. Since its inception, the studio has been located in Northwest Philadelphia, first in West Mt. Airy and for the past twenty-one years in historic Germantown.

Beyer Studio often gets requests for small stained glass windows for small or private chapels. We are now offering this 32 diameter stained glass window of the Holy Spirit and symbols of the Four Evangelists. This window is built new when ordered and is available as a stand alone stained glass panel for $7,960. This stained glass window can also be purchased as a package which includes an aluminum frame designed to hold stained glass and a one-inch insulated, exterior glass unit panel. The stained glass window with frame and insulated glass unit is $9,120.
