Dr. Carpenter completed his Plastic Surgery residency at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital, ranked the #1 Hospital in the world for 22 of the last 28 years*. He has been in practice since 1995, performing surgery on tens of thousands of patients. In addition to his vast clinical experience, Dr. Carpenter meets or exceeds yearly requirements for ongoing medical education and has lectured on topics ranging from Cleft Lip repair to Breast reconstruction and Facelift.
Joe Snyder has been working with Dr. Carpenter and Allegany Plastic Surgery since 2007. He enjoys working with the professional and caring staff of Allegany Plastic Surgery to help patients in the Cumberland and surrounding areas achieve their goals. Joe's primary role, as a Physician's Assistant, includes the healing and treating of various skin related conditions. Skin cancer screening, skin cancer removal, and wound treatment are just a few of the procedures Joe performs at the practice. Joe is also highly skilled at evaluating varicose veins and spider veins and serves as our primary evaluator at Allegany Vein Clinic.
